Born and raised in Toledo City, Cebu, Anj Gabriel grew up surrounded by stories—some spoken, most felt. Her early love for writing blossomed alongside a calling to care, eventually leading her to a career in nursing. After passing the Philippine Nursing Licensure Exam in 2011, she followed her dream of working abroad, moving to the UK to serve as a Stroke Clinical Nurse Specialist under the NHS.
